SPORTS HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM

The Sports Hall of Fame & Museum is dedicated to recognizing the contribution of sport to the lives of the people of Humboldt & district. The museum captures the spirit of sport.

Sports memorabilia in the museum include pictures, uniforms, equipment, trophies, crests and programs from Humboldt and district. Among them is an old flooding barrel rescued prior to demolition of the Leo Parker arena (1920 - 1970). Phone: 306-682-5226

From the days long before the Zamboni, the flood barrel used at the old arena, now housed in the Sports Museum.

Back in the days when the National Hockey League only consisted of six teams, Humboldt hockey legend Glenn Hall, depicted on a Coca-Cola cap in the Sports Museum, played goal for the Chicago Black Hawks.
